I'm as much an artist as I am a dancer - and currently I am no dancer.
I have only YouTube training and a stubborn determination to bend pigment to my vision.
In 2004 I bought some pastels thinking I needed a hobby and how hard could this be? After 12 attempts I gave up and went back to just being a Dad - hobbies are hard with under 5's.
In 2020 the global shutdown meant I needed to do something to stay sane and I found my old pastels.
With life experience under my belt I knew that if I painted 50 pictures then painting would start making sense. And if I did 100 paintings maybe I would get good enough to be called an artist.
100 paintings has long since been passed and the art journey has still just begun.
